My son and I were sick and tired of our condo in Highlands at Stonegate North and living in a community controlled by a HOA. We wanted a house that was free from any HOA and were looking for a 'beater' that needed a little work. Joanne found us just that. We wanted something with a backyard and a 2-car garage on a quiet street. Something that had a solid foundation with no structural issues. Bingo! We told Joanne our budget was $600K tops but something under $500K was really what we were leaning towards. We ultimately selected something for $490K and talked the seller down to $480K because their personal situation required them staying in the property for 2 weeks following the closing. Our move from the Stonegate location to the new house in the Cottonwood went pretty smooth and we've now been there almost 6 months already. We would not hesitate to utilize Joann's services again. Her knowledge of the Douglas County market was apparent and our channels of communication were always simple with language that was easy to understand. My husband and I had been discussing on buying a house for over a year. I work in the title business so I was familiar with interest rates and purchases prices. We decided to move forward with purchasing, but then we needed an agent. Joanne and I ended up working out at the same gym and connected that way. Right away Joanne was answering all of our questions and helping us through the purchase process. When we began looking at houses, there wasn’t a place she wasn’t willing to go or a time she wasn’t willing to go at. When we finally found the ‘one’, instead of letting us know she would prepare the contract later that evening, she helped us put it together in the driveway of our future home. She was with us every step of the way through negotiations, inspections, deadlines, and closing. She is such a dedicated agent, that even during a blizzard, she was willing to drive out for our final walkthrough before closing. My husband and I could not imagine working with another agent during our first time home buying process. To this day Joanne still checks in and makes sure we are doing good and we don’t need anything. We cannot recommend Joanne enough – especially for first time homebuyers!

Joanne has years of experience and it shows. She fights for what is right and she in the most knowledgeable agent I have ever met. She fight for what it right. If you are in the military or a veteran she will go above and beyond to take care of you. The market it cut throat right now. But Joanne is honest and trustworthy. I wish there was more agents like her.

Excellence in action is all I can say. She did more than any realtor I e ever worked with to get us the best fair price in the timeframe we needed. I could write a novel but I'll just say,you will be missing out if you decide to go with someone else
