I first met Jo Ann Ortiz in 2017 or maybe a year or two before as a Navigator for HealthCare.Gov. During those years I got to know her as being polite, caring, professional and knowledgeable about the process and what was required by us to receive the benefits provided through HealthCare.Gov.. That being said, when Ms. Ortiz changed professions, we decided that when the time came, we would once again use Ms. Ortiz as our realtor because of her history with us from the medical industry. We knew she would do her utmost to get the best possible price for my father’s house after he passed away. Even with the markets’ decline we had complete faith in her abilities to know the market and the best way to show and get a fair market value for the house. I had four other realtors calling me to allow them to sell the house, but I was going to use Ms. Ortiz because of her past in helping us, and that was my first and final decision. We had met with Ms. Ortiz and her partner from the firm (Mr. Edson) for the initial visit/walk through. Ms. Ortiz then proceeded to advise us of what we needed to do to make what was wrong and make it right. She also had her knowledge of another handyman to put on the finishing touches. Then they put up the sign and listed it and then the offers came. We agreed on the offer and between the buyer and us we agreed and the house was sold. Ms. Ortiz kept us informed at all times and made the selling transition as smooth as possible. So smooth in fact she is working with us on a property we are interested in and we have also made up our minds that she will be the realtor of our current house when the times comes. In conclusion we hold Ms. Ortiz in the highest regard and have complete faith in her abilities to secure either selling or buying property/houses for the best price and being their throughout the process to see that all goes smoothly. We would strongly recommend her to anyone to sell or buy a house.
