We have known Jena and Richard for many years. In 1993, their knowledge and expertise helped us move into our recent home after the challenges post-Hurricane Andrew. So, of course, we wanted that same attention to detail when we recently made the move from that home to our new home outside of Miami! Jena and Richard work smoothly together as a team. They explained each step before we began the process, and kept us up-to-date often. Whenever we reached out, their response was prompt and knowledgeable. No question went unanswered and sometimes were answered more than once. We had a difficult first contract with many challenges. They kept our interests at the forefront of the negotiations. They consistently dealt with the other agent/buyers in a timely, ethical and professional manner. and we were appraised of each step almost daily. When that contract didn't work out, they already had other showings and an Open House scheduled. The second contract went beautifully. Jena Congdon, and her team, was a pleasure to work with from the first time we met to the moment we closed on the sale. From the beginning she provided advice on how to prepare the home for sale, as well as well-researched market data upon which to base a reasonable asking price. Her team also prepared a spreadsheet with estimated seller costs so we could understand what the cash out amount would be given different price points. Jena hosted multiple open houses the first weekend the home was listed. We were fortunate to entertain eight offers within a week of listing. She walked us through the pros and cons of each offer and conducted extensive research on each of the buyers and their financing strategy. This allowed us to select the offer with the best chance of a timely and successful closing. We were under contract soon after. Jena then coordinated all of the post-contract activities. She personally attended the house inspection, and follow-up visits by the buyer. Jena continued to provide sage advice throughout the final negotiation process and represented our interests with the buyer. Closing was easy and successful thanks to her hard work.
