SOLD THE HOUSE IN THREE DAYS! We have bought and sold many homes in the last 35 years and dealt with many realtors. I must say Heidi was as close to perfect as we have seen. She was responsive and professional at every point. She knew the answers to our questions and was fantastic at explaining the home sale process steps. Never overload... always enough to digest. Great pre-sale advice was given to us. As an Alexandria native she was knowing and capable of this vastly changing market. Our home was priced fairly, and it sold fast. Heidi has a great sense of humor and worked hard to keep us informed. She is a no-nonsense gal, and we would use here again!

Heidi made the process of buying our first house an absolute breeze; I cannot recommend her enough. The process was kind of incredible; from our first time speaking to her to having our offer accepted was less than two weeks. The house we closed on was only our second offer, we did not make the highest bid, and we were competing with 13 other offers. Heidi was a wealth of knowledge and was able to help us realistically navigate a competitive market without pushing us outside of our budget. She is proactive, well-connected, knowledgeable, and reliable. I know I wasn't her only client, but she made me feel like I was. She quickly answered messages, was able to coordinate special viewings and inspections within hours, and took time out of her day to have lengthy conversations in order to make sure that I was informed as a first time home buyer. She clearly understood what we were looking for and would ask insightful questions while we were viewing properties to make sure we were aware of certain features or potential stress-points that might impact whether our desires were being met. Heidi is a pleasant, capable realtor that had our best interest in mind. She came highly recommended to me by a friend who was absolutely raving about what a good realtor she is, and I concur. The house we bought was everything we wanted, in a neighborhood that had the exact feel we wanted, and in an area that we wanted. I am in love with our little house, and we relied heavily on Heidi in our process to find and buy it.

Heidi is phenomenal and the best in the business. She doesn’t just list your home for sale. She does WORK to get it sold. She placed laminated custom placards around our house to highlight unique features to any potential buyers and buyer’s agents who would be walking through. She provided a cute basket of shoe covers for buyers to respect the fact that we don’t wear shoes in our home, and we did still live there. In negotiations, she truly demonstrated the importance of the “art” of negotiation, while remaining fair to both parties. We will recommend her over and over to anyone in northern Virginia looking to buy or sell. We wish we could have used her for our our purchase, but we relocated to Texas. On that note, Heidi proved her expertise carried into corporate sponsored relocations, as well. She made the process so smooth, being able to answer questions and knowing when to tell us that it was something to address with the relocation company. We have bought and sold many houses in four different states. Heidi Burkhardt is the best agent anywhere!

Working with Heidi was great from start to finish! She had the perfect balance of giving me clear advice while still letting me do things the way I wanted. She was super helpful with insight about the neighborhood and what was a good value or what was overpriced. Even though I had purchased quite a few properties in the past, her experience shined through during the negotiations and her advice saved me from making mistakes. She was especially helpful with my very very slow mortgage company by acting like the "project manager" to get it done and also helping me start with some back up financing options, just in case, to make sure the deal would go through. In the end, Heidi not only helped me find and facilitate the deal, but she made it much less stressful too.

Heidi B is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!!! Her level of knowledge of real estate, the area, data about the market, etc - really I could go on but you get the idea- she’s a home buying and selling genius! Heidi was ALWAYS available for calls and showings. Her response time is super-fast- so you best be ready! I don’t know how Heidi does it but I truly felt (and unfortunately for her, acted) as if I was her only client. I’m beyond thankful for Heidi. My home sale was not a straightforward sale. Heidi was quick to meet with an assessor from the City (no small feat to score that appointment!) to gain the understanding we needed. She delivered the information to me in language I could understand. The amount of time and effort Heidi put into taking me through the entire process is extraordinary. From day one, Heidi started to slowly explain the ‘big picture,’ in bits I could make meaning from. I always felt like I had all the information I needed to make decisions. I had never sold a home before, and I hadn't purchased a home in 17 years, so I’m basically like a first-time buyer. Heidi knew what questions I would have before they even occurred to me, and she was always there with a quick and easy to digest answer. Thanks to Heidi, and all her unbiased guidance, my eyes were always wide open. All in all, now that I’m moved in Heidi still shares my excitement for my new condo. She feels like a trusted friend rather than just another real estate agent. I can’t say enough great things about Heidi. I loooooooved working with Heidi B!

Heidi went above and beyond to sell our condo in a challenging market. We moved out of state during the listing process and Heidi took charge, dealing with unforeseen issues for us, meeting with contractors, and always communicating through it all.
