I met Mina at one of her open houses. After just a few minutes of talking with her I had a sense of her trustworthiness and sincerity. During contract and home inspection negotiations she relayed my position to the seller in positive terms. My gut told me that the seller trusted her opinion deeply which made any issues very easy to resolve. One very positive aspect for me was how Mina was able to provide substantial backup to the appraiser for how she and the seller had priced the house. Since I went in without an appraisal contingency on my bid, this mattered bigly. I had the lucky coincidence to see Mina again when she was collecting her lockbox after settlement and she showed genuine interest in how I would be decorating my new home -wow! How many seller’s agents would show that kind of interest in how the buyer was doing? Mina’s actions throughout the entire process gave me a sense of good karma about my home purchase.

We have known John since he was recommended to us almost 20 years ago when moving from the west coast to Fairfax county. At that time he worked tirelessly to have multiple houses for us to see on the few house hunting trips we were able to make. He educated us on the plusses and minuses of the various communities and ultimately found us our dream home in Great Falls where we lived for almost 18 years. As empty nesters, we called John up a couple of years ago telling him we were just thinking of maybe moving to a house with less upkeep, but we weren't sure. We were clear to him that we were not ready to make a commitment right then but just wanted to start exploring options. He told us at that time that he understood and that it might be a couple of years before we were ready to make the decision, but he still worked as hard for us as if we were ready to move that day. Fast forward almost two years exactly and John helped us find our new dream home in Leesburg. He was great throughout the process and handles all the things that add stress to the process. He and Kim also handled the sale of our Great Falls home - again handling all the tough parts so that the closing was seamless to us - and he got us well more than we thought we would get. We can't recommend John and his team enough!
