After nearly a decade of federal service in national security, Hannah Powell has turned her long-time passion for real estate and home renovation into her primary calling. She draws from her 20+ years as a renter, homeowner, real estate investor, property manager, renovator and Airbnb Superhost in DC to bring the best service to her clients. She is licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
While the DMV real estate market can be tough, Hannah believes searching for a new home should be fun. She leverages her government experience in negotiation and data analysis to successfully advocate on behalf of her clients. Most importantly, Hannah believes in listening to and working together with her clients to find the home and local community that best serves their needs.
Hannah also served as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, a non-partisan, unpaid elected office where she represented the interests of over 2,500 constituents in the heart of the District. She leveraged her experience working in the community to help her clients navigate the challenges associated with acquiring building permits, understanding zoning regulations, and working with neighborhood associations.
Hannah originally hails from Orlando, Florida, and received her B.S., M.A., and M.B.A. from Georgetown University. She is a member of Church of the Resurrection on Capitol Hill and the Eckington Civic Association. If she’s not out enjoying a new DC restaurant with friends, she’s probably just hanging out on her front porch.
