I have great respect for their work and I saw my mom create an incredible business through her grit, intelligence, and warmth. I always compare agents to her, and they always come up short. . . until I met Gretchen. Gretchen's attention to detail is impressive and she was an amazing advocate for us with her savvy strategies and straightforward integrity. In our deal she was a dual agent and I marvelled at how she protected both sides of the deal with honesty and care. It was amazing. It was a complicated deal and she was on top of every detail, keeping us informed at all stages and reassuring us when we felt overwhelmed. It is a pity that not everyone can use Gretchen, even she has her limits. But, anyone that does use her will be blessed by her loyalty, intelligence, and tenacity. My mother would be very proud. In fact, unsurprisingly, they've become friends. We've had multiple realtors over the years, and none have come close to the standard Gretchen sets in terms of efficiency, knowledge, ADVOCACY, responsiveness, and all around competency (and all while being genuinely enjoyable to interact with)! I listed my property with a few other agents and got almost no results. When I listed my property with Gretchen, instant results. Buyers were showing up constantly. Almost all of them came with cash in hand. I was looking for the one buyer that could and would finish the dream that I had for the land and it’s resident wildlife. Gretchen listens to what you say. That’s really rare these days. She vetted every single potential buyer for a good fit to the land. Most people of them I ran off because of something they said or did that didn’t sit well with me and I knew that they could never be the stewards of the land and wildlife that I was looking for. Although, she did bring some perfect prospects out. Most of them didn’t have the financial means to acquire the property. A few of them did. It was a tough decision. Finally the lucky buyer agreed and signed to my terms of never breaking up the land and will never sell it to anyone that would for all time. I would buy my next piece of property from Gretchen, and someday, have her sell it for me again. We became more that realtor and seller’s. We became friends.
