Eric Andrews is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in History. Eric taught History and Civics at Northwood High School prior to sitting for the Real Estate Broker License exam in July, 1999. After forming Andrews Realty Company, LLC in 1999 and operating an independent brokerage for a short time he decided to join forces with two other locals. They opened Realty World Carolina Properties in 2000. Eventually he purchased the downtown Pittsboro Realty World location and is now the majority owner and Principal Broker.
Eric is consistently one of the top Brokers in commercial, land and farm transactions in the Realty World NC/SC region, a region of more then 40 offices. He has been named to the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors Million Plus Club and is a member of the Raleigh Board of Realtors Top Producers Council. He was awarded the Distinguished Business Person of the Year Award by the Chatham County Chamber of Commerce in 2008.
Eric is an Accredited Land Consultant in North Carolina and has served the North Carolina Realtors Land Institute as the Vice-President/President Elect and as the state president. Eric obtained his North Carolina License to expand the firm's services to it's clients in this changing economy.
In addition to business accolades, Eric served as a volunteer football coach for Northwood High School, served in Siler City Rotary, Silk Hope Ruritan and two terms as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Chatham County United Way. Eric is the past President of the Pittsboro Rotary and is currently a board member. He is an active supporter of the Pittsboro Merchants Association and member of the Chatham County United Chamber of Commerce. The firm is a corporate sponsor of Chatham County United Way.
All work and no play would be a dull life. He continues to play Rugby for the Charlotte Oldies and UNCC Alumni. In 2011, 2016, and 2018 Eric won the Mr. North Carolina titles for USPFA, State Champion in power-lifting.
Eric has two children that he adores. His son has a great sense of humor and is also active in power-lifting. His daughter loves music and is involved with high school basketball. They love going to the gym, going to the movies, and just spending time with their dad at their farm in Bear Creek.
