In working with a realtor, we cared most about three things: 1) someone who felt vested in our search; 2) someone willing to provide individualized attention; and 3) someone who intuitively understood the things we were looking for in a house. Liz checked all three boxes. Despite making no offers at all during the first several months of our house search, we never felt pressured while working with Liz. Instead, Liz was endlessly patient. When we expressed that we didn't want to have our email inbox blasted with the typical antiquated MLS listserv system, Liz did not hesitate to use a hands-on approach in bringing houses to our attention instead. She utilized her Coldwell Banker network to give us a heads up on houses before they officially hit the MLS, and even volunteered to set up a letter writing campaign in the neighborhood that we ultimately focused on. Last but not least, as someone who had gone through similar life stages recently, Liz not only understood our concerns, but easily put herself in our shoes and raised possible issues that we had not even thought of. While other realtors may boast more years of experience, we found that to be a poor approximation for our needs. An extensive list of prior transactions means little if they don't care about YOUR housing search. Working with Liz felt like working with a friend and we would not hesitate to do so again in the future.
