We chose Elic because he helped us find the perfect house in Berkeley in 2016. More recently, Elic helped us our house during the pandemic and we closed March 24th, 2020. When I was ready to panic and give up, Elic kept his cool and successfully guided us through the entire process. We highly recommend Elic when selling your home! Elic did an amazing job with all parts of our sale. He started with a tour of the house and recommended places where we could fix a few things, but he was also very forthcoming with which parts he felt would actually increase the price and which were less likely to have a large effect. He was very prepared with comparables around the neighborhood and backed up his suggested listing price with concrete data. Every meeting we had he updated us on more comparables and made sure we were comfortable with the plan as we moved towards the open house. From the time we moved out to the first open house, Elic took care of everything and we did not have to lift a finger. He organized the painting, repairs, staging, etc, and kept us updated each step of the way. He marketed the house with fliers and a website. The house looked fantastic! His hard work paid off because we ended up with a preemptive offer, which Elic then leveraged to gather 4 more offers. We ended up selling for significantly more than we all had anticipated. If you're looking for a realtor who is professional, knowledgeable about about the market, strategic, and a good communicator, you're looking for Elic!

With Elic's help we purchased a home we love on our second offer (only 1.5 months of looking, which is very quick for this market.) Elic helped us navigate a significant negotiation when something came up in the inspection process. As first-time home buyers who were all over the place in terms of location, home condition, etc. he was very patient and helpful with us throughout the whole process, which included a very quick closing period. He also connected us to excellent professionals in the field for assistance with the mortgage, inspections, etc. We never felt pressure and really enjoyed working with Elic.

My boyfriend and I had been shopping for our first home for a few months with another realtor who continued to disappoint me with her lack of responsiveness and general apathy when I met Elic at an open house. From the very start he was knowledgeable, helpful, and a very good listener-- after talking with him a bit at that open house about what we were looking for we knew that he was the one who could help us find what we were looking for. We weren't in a rush to buy a home and wanted to wait until we found the perfect place so our process ended up taking a while but Elic was attentive without being pushy the entire time. He was always available to answer questions via phone, text or email and would respond in a thourough way almost immediately. His comparison reports and local knowledge really helped us understand where we would be happiest and still be within our budget. When we did finally find "THE" house, Elic helped us write an offer that we both felt confident about-- I was ready to do anything it took to win the property but Elic used his knowledge of the market and the area to write a winning offer that didn't even max out our budget. In escrow Elic was patient and attentive as always and guided me through the process in a way that made our short closing timeline feel like a breeze-- he even talked me down off a ledge when I had a brief "should I really be buying a house" freak out. He's provided us with lists of resources for work that needs to be done once we move in and I know that he'll continue to be there for me if questions come up in the future.
