He and his wife, Dianne, have two children and five wonderful grand kids. They enjoy spending time at their Lake Shasta cabin (built by Merle Haggard!) Doug volunteers with his Church to help mentor and lead teenagers to enjoy happy, successful lives and is a volunteer baker/decorator for Cake4kids, providing birthday cakes for at-risk youth.
