Derek comes from a large family of business owners and was instilled with a strong work ethic from day one. He owns and operates his own retail furniture company and has worked in commercial leasing for the past two years. He is a champion of this exciting time in real estate and has a particular enthusiasm for working with first-time buyers, especially newlyweds!
Derek’s over-arching objective is to take the burden of stress off his clients and make sure they can settle into their new home quickly and comfortably. He prides himself in being detail–oriented and an astute communicator who can tailor himself to the needs of his clients and various participants of a real estate transaction.
In his spare time, Derek enjoys playing sports with his kids, coaching his son’s football team, and catching a round of golf. He values the close-knit, family-oriented community of San Ramon, where he has lived for the past six years, and his hands-on style and sense of humor come into play both at home and at work.
