When we started our house hunting, we used an app and selected a home to see. Our first realtor experience was very frustrating; we were sent to look at homes on our own, asked for unnecessary information regarding offers and received inadequate directions to the questions we asked. Given that experience, we were about to give up and almost didn’t go to the next viewing. I am so glad we pressed on because at that next showing we met Dawnita! Dawnita is very experienced and helped to identify possible issues for the houses under consideration. On more than one occasion, we thought we had found the perfect home only to have Dawnita point out areas of concern. She identified possible foundation issues, specific roofing types that would require additional insurance coverage, features that would need immediate attention or replacement. Then we thought we found our dream home, but Dawnita could not get the numbers to add up to what the seller was asking, they would not budge. She advised us that she didn’t think it was in our best interest and said, "Let's keep looking." We found our dream home a week later, bigger, cheaper, and in a better school district. We cannot thank her enough. She was very patient with us, explained every part of the process, and answered texts/calls no matter the time. We felt like Dawnita knew exactly what we wanted more than we did, we would not have looked at the home which is now our home if it had not been for Dawnita. She took our requirements and found our dream home with additional features we had not thought of. I have to admit that looking and buying a home is one of the most stressful experiences, if I take this journey again, it will be with Dawnita. Thank you Dawnita!
