When I first met David, I had slowed down to look at a house in Wilton. From the adjacent property came a man looking to see what my level of interest was. I told him we weren't quite in the market yet, and he gave me his card. Months later, when we were interested in seeing that house, I contacted him and he set everything up. We opted not to go with it, and a few more months transpired. During that time, on a suggestion from a friend, we began to work with a different realtor from a bigger office. We described what we were looking for, and every property he brought us to failed to hit the mark. We didn't feel as though he was listening to us, and being first time home buyers, we had LOTS of questions that he didn't answer. During that time, David had stayed in touch, despite us working with someone else. After several disappointing trips with the "other guy", we decided to give David a call. What a world of difference! He listened to our needs and concerns and patiently showed us over a half a dozen different properties until we found our dream home. He guided us on what to do (and what NOT to do), and made the entire process a pleasure! David is a kind, forthright, honest man who believes in community and doing good for good's sake. David helped us find the perfect house to fit all of our needs. He put up with all of our crazy questions for the year leading up to the purchase of our house since we knew nothing about the process. Moving from Florida to New Hampshire was a very trying experience. Not only was David very accommodating while we were in Florida sending us real estate that was nearly perfect for us, he met us as soon as we arrived and within a half dozen showings he found us exactly what we wanted and well with in our price range. HIs knowledge of the area, his professionalism, his guidance with decisions during the process and his general knowledge of the real estate market is outstanding. Going beyond his call of duty, while following David on our way to see a potential new home, we were involved in a bad auto accident. He stayed with us thru the whole ordeal and even chauffeured us to pick up a loaner and stayed until we were back on our way. He has helped us in may other ways that are too many to mention. I was in the midst of selling my home which was thrust on my shoulders in the midst of a very hard divorce. Dave was understanding, kind, knowledgeable and did above and beyond what was required in order to get my home sold and get me out from under that burden. He spent a lot of time with me explaining in detail what I needed to know and listening to my concerns. In the end- he was able to get the price I needed to successfully move and have a nice down payment for my new home. I really appreciate his integrity and honesty and his work ethic. David's services were invaluable in selling our 100+ year-old farmhouse. It was a unique property being sold under difficult circumstances. David was outstanding in his knowledge of the area, how to best present the house, and how to get the best price without over-pricing the listing. His communication was fluid and clear - I always knew what was going on and what action I needed to take, even when I was a thousand miles away. David took on all the difficult administrative aspects of selling and gave me simple, easy instructions to follow to keep buyer traffic at a maximum. I was very pleased.
