Words cannot describe how lucky we were to work with Julie Holmes of goBE Realty! Having a family of 8 in a very small market was a challenge for sure. However, Julie was a phenomenal agent. She has integrity, commitment and treated us like we were her only clients. Julie worked diligently, taking our phone calls, answering text messages, and emailing us new listings daily. Julie showed us several homes per week and we finally found one we liked. Julie knows the market and knows how to write a winning bid. In fact, when we wrote our bid, there was a competing bid. The seller actually had us bid again. We told Julie we were happy with our first offer and she supported us and said it was a good offer. Well ours was the one accepted! Unfortunately as we started down the due diligence road we uncovered some serious issues with the home we wanted. Julie went back and forth with the seller many times to alert them of the issues and try to get them repaired. After much effort we decided it was in our best interest to find another home. Julie supported our decision 100%. So our search continued. Julie showed us many home and we again found one we liked. We negotiated a purchase price, set the terms, and quickly ordered the home inspection and the other due diligence items. Everything was perfect for our family and the only issue we had was the timing for closing. We were out of time on the sale of our other home and we needed to be out sooner than we would be closing on our new home. Well, Julie was able to get us into our home as renters for a very reasonable rate. We were even able to move our stuff into the garage before we actually began renting. In the end we were able to find a home under our budget, in a fantastic neighborhood, and within our time constraints.
