Dave is very knowledgeable on the area, the homes available and their floor plans, and things to look for and to look out for. He helped us find the perfect house for us offering insights and advice on neighborhoods, floor plan, traffic patterns, amenities, and businesses and shopping nearby. He also helped us estimate our budget for various improvements we wanted to make and was spot on with the costs. He provided names of contractors and even help to schedule the work. Dave helped us to negotiate a good price and gave us great advice on the inspection and repair process. Buying a home can be stressful and we were so happy to have a trusted partner to help us navigate the market and the buying process. There is nothing we wanted that we did not get from Dave Monty!

Dave really cared. He was responsive and super helpful. He even discovered a defect in the house at final inspection the seller had not disclosed that had been under furniture and a rug that inspectors and others missed and then helped us get it fixed right away. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again.

As a former realtor for Re/MAX I had been very disappointed in the other realtors I have used since then - both as a buyer and seller. This is not true with Dave - he exceeded all of the expectations my husband and I had. He sold our house in 5 days after it had previously been listed with another MLS agent for several months. He totally handled our home inspection to do list and we did not have to find plumbers, painters, etc... and we paid a very very reasonable price for the minor work that was done. We could not have been happier with Dave throughout the process.

Dave knows The Villages and surrounding areas really well and helped us a lot with our purchase. He was great to talk with on our home search visits and goes above and beyond other agents, and, after the purchase, offered good suggestions regarding the improvements we were considering to make it perfect for us.

Dave listened and was very responsive to all our our needs in a search for our house. He was extremely knowledgeable about the house market and also very knowledgeable about the trades, in case you wanted to buy a house and do any upgrades or desirable changes. He was very patient, available, customer centric, and not pushy at all. We are so happy to have found him by a referral! We love our new house! Our home purchase was anything but routine. The sale was complicated by issues involving the previous homeowner, who was difficult to work with and not especially helpful during the process. When the seller missed the first closing, we had a legal opportunity to step away, but we decided to move forward. Throughout it all, Dave was professional, patient, and determined. He worked through the unnecessary drama, stayed in close contact with the seller’s agent, and guided us every step of the way until we finally closed the deal. We are extremely grateful for Dave’s perseverance and support. We are not sure every realtor would have seen this one through, but Dave did, and his dedication made all the difference.
