Dave Arneson

Dave and Kris Arneson are the dream team....they really are! Let me just start by saying, we took years to find our house. We did not need to move and were not in any hurry, so we took our sweet time. Never once did we feel rushed, pressured or any other form of frustration from them during our search. Once we found the house we loved, Dave and Kris worked together to make it into the best possible experience. They were all hands on deck from start to finish. And there's a lot to do....the prep work of getting our house on the market, inspections and names/numbers of people who could beatify or fix anything, the strategy of pricing our house (yes there's strategy!) as well as the offer on the new house, the open houses complete with a taco truck to drum up interest, arranging visits to the new house, answering a billion questions and a barrage of requests, explaining paperwork and just overall being there for us to help and reassure us from start to finish. I think there might have even been some help moving furniture at one point! I know I missed many of the things they assisted us with, but you catch my point. They made a stressful event an excellent experience! Thanks Dave and Kris!!

As executor of my sister-in law’s estate, which included a house three hours away from where I lived, I was in need of a realtor who was experienced, competent, and flexible. The house had been neglected and was in deplorable condition needing much attention. Additionally, the house was occupied by a disabled tenant who made the house accessible to inspectors, appraisers, and potential customers on a limited and irregular basis requiring a great deal of ad hoc flexibility. Fortunately, I obtained a local referral to the excellent realtor team of Dave Arneson and his wife, Kris who took hold of this project with great zeal and creativity relieving me of most of the legwork required to get the house in a reasonable condition for sale. They wasted no time in bringing in local services to clear the overgrown front and rear yards, haul away accumulated junk and trash, make basic repairs, and make the house as presentable as possible for sale as a house with “potential”. To get the best price possible, they developed a methodology for getting the word out to potential investors and obtaining competitive bids which resulted in a more than fair price for the property. As a nice outcome to this process, the highest bidders turned out to be a couple who were willing to apply elbow grease to create the house of their dreams. Throughout the entire process, Dave and Kris exhibited a high degree of integrity, creativity, competency, and professionalism. In terms of customer support and satisfaction, they were amazing, achieving the highest levels. They also went well above and beyond the call of duty by assisting the disabled tenant in finding a new domicile. I owe much thanks to Dave ad Kris for doing such a wonderful job on this project and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in buying or selling real estate in the Bay Area.
