About Darrin

Darrin McWilliams has been a real estate agent since 2005, and joined Rêve Realtors in 2020. His focus and specialization revolves around multi-family and single family homes in the Gentilly and New Orleans East areas. Having studied computer science at Southern University, Darrin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and project management from American Intercontinental University and is currently completing a master’s degree in management. His passion for real estate began when he worked as a real estate abstractor, researching chains of title for real estate transactions. In 2016, after eleven years as a top-producing agent, Darrin took on a new role as a construction project manager to gain insight and knowledge into the development and home building process. Now, he’s planning to combine his agent experience with his construction expertise to start his own development company, designing and building homes. Darrin prides himself on providing sound information and advice to his clients, helping them to make informed decisions. Known as motivated, attentive and loyal, Darrin has been praised by out of town clients for how easy he is to work with, and by first-time homebuyers for his patience and understanding as he helped them find their dream home. When not working, Darrin loves fishing and spending time with his wife Karen. He also takes an active role in planning community events with the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club, an organization he’s been a member of for 12 years.
