We experienced a few "challenges" over the course of the purchase due to some inspection findings, and Dan was very helpful in working as a "mediator" between us and the seller to help get a resolution to all of the issues that we had uncovered. He provided excellent advice, referred us to some high-quality contractors to help review and get resolutions to the issues we found, and worked to ensure that a resolution was found that met everyone's needs. After owning a beach front condo for a number of years, we decided to move to Myrtle Beach permanently. We looked at a few homes and areas Dan recommended. After narrowing down the choices, we looked at a few open houses, and found one we liked, Dan was contacted and negotiated a good purchase price. Dan then listed our ocean front condo and sold it in a few short weeks. Four years later, our children and grandchildren told us how much we were missed. We made the decision to move back to Ohio. Dan listed our home and after a few cancelled offers, sold our home for very close to our asking price. He worked above and beyond what was expected of him and has continued to remain in contact with us. If you want someone in the real estate business to work to obtain you the best price and keep in touch, then Dan is your man. While we owned our condo which Dan had not sold to us, a hurricane hit the area and did a lot of damage to our building, Dan drove to the area, parked a number of blocks away, walked through sand closed roads to our condo building, climbed 15 flights of stairs to check on our condo. He also sent us a number of pictures and kept us informed about the damage to Myrtle Beach. Our condo was not on a rental program at Dunes Realty, so he was not obligated to check on our condo.
