Since the protocols of viewing real estate has changed due to Covid-19, it's more demanding now on the agent to coordinate the schedules, get PEAD's signed, and secure an appointment time to view the property. We're first-time buyers in the heated South Bay market. Our criteria were pretty specific, as we wanted to stay within the elementary school district where our son attended school, and half of the properties in that district were of a style we weren't interested in. We were afraid that we'd exasperate any Realtor who would work with us in our quest. Cindy was understanding, paid good attention to what we were interested in, and took note of the nuances we were seeking. We looked at several properties that were in the district to calibrate her, and us, on what we wanted. She was patient with us even when we found a property that, on paper, seemed to have everything we wanted, but just didn't quite have the spark we were looking for. She helped us navigate the whirlwind of forms, policies, and negotiations in a particularly expedited escrow, which was intimidating for us who had no experience with the process. In retrospect, we can see that there was a lot of legwork that Cindy did behind the scenes to ensure we had a smooth experience getting to closing. I admit that I previously had thought, "how hard is it for someone to show me a house I can find online?", but I know there is no way we could have navigated this process successfully in a cut-throat market with exhausting deadlines without someone with Cindy's expertise.
