Though this process I have learned that the choice of Realtors for either party will make or break the deal. Cindy made our dream of owning a home in Redondo Beach come true! For the past year, my wife and I had been looking at every listing in the Golden Hills neighborhood that came online (Redfin, Zillow), however with the intent of purchasing 2 years down the road. Whenever we saw a "nice" home come online, we would tell ourselves "yeah, we would make an offer on this place when we're ready to purchase". Then one day, the listing that changed our lives suddenly appeared online - and it was Cindy's latest listing. The very first photo she used as the "cover" photo immediately captured our attention. All of her professionally taken photos along with her well-crafted description of the house, proximity to the school and beach, and design features, enticed us enough to trek down from Pasadena to Redondo Beach for the open house. As soon as walked in, we fell in love the home. Cindy had clearly spent a lot of effort and thought into staging the furniture and curating the space. I also learned she had worked with the owner directly to remodel the home prior to coming on the market. Needless to say the house remodel was absolutely beautiful and was enough to convince us to change our entire plans and accelerate our move just for this house. We ended up putting in an offer that night (our first ever). We quickly got into a bidding war (of course), but ultimately put in the winning offer and were in escrow less than 1 week from the house being on the market. To compete with the other offers, we put in a 21-day close which was an intense process, not without its hiccups and surprises. But Cindy was instrumental in helping navigate through the ups and downs (which were at no fault of hers), and was always communicative and available (including answering our phone call at 9pm on a Friday). And on the day of the close, she personally greeted us with the keys (and a nice bottle of wine!). We now get to raise our son in our dream home and we only have Cindy to thank!
