Cynamin was born and raised in Kansas. She spent her summers in the La Veta/Cuchara, Colorado area, where she fell in love with the majestic mountains, small-town lifestyle, family traditions, and enchanting wildlife. With five generations of family who have built their lives and memories in Colorado, it truly feels like home to her.
Cynamin met her husband, Jim, a La Veta native and Air Force veteran, in Cuchara. After marrying in 1991, the newlyweds moved across the United States, living in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Illinois. In 2010, Cynamin and her family returned to Southern Colorado, the place that always felt like home. She is the proud mother of three boys, of whom are all La Veta High School alumni.
Jim and Cynamin founded "The Cuchara Country Music Festival," which enjoyed three successful years in Cuchara. In 2016, the festival relocated to the La Veta Airport, allowing for larger venues, diverse music genres, RV camping, and food vendors. Renamed "The Spanish Peaks Music Festival," this event has brought significant revenue to Huerfano County, benefiting many local organizations. Cynamin and Jim have become integral members of the community, consistently giving back and warmly welcoming both visitors and residents.
Throughout her time in Colorado, Cynamin has lived in Colorado Springs, Canon City, Cuchara, and Pueblo West. With family spread across Southern Colorado, her expertise in real estate spans a vast area. As a former military spouse, she is also well-versed in military relocations. Since beginning her real estate career in 2016, Cynamin has successfully closed over 400 transactions and consistently ranked within the top ten of her local listing service.
Cynamin possesses a natural talent for interior decorating, exceptional renovation skills, and a genuine love for people.
