Christy was my initial contact when I decided to sell. She is so friendly and knowledgeable! Sometimes Tammy also worked on my listing. Between the two, I never had to wait long for an answer whenever a question arose. They suggested a starting price based on my home's value, but due to market conditions, that number had to be adjusted a few times. Christy (and Tammy) never pressured me to drop the price. In the end, I got what I was hoping to get. The house was listed for 6 months, not long by today's standards. It went much smoother than I expected.
Where do I start, I met Christy a few years ago on a visit to On Top of the World. Although I wasn’t ready to buy yet, she sent me listings and was always available to answer any questions I had. We purchased our beautiful split plan house on the golf course via video in Jan thru Feb 2022. From Mar 2022 through April 2022, we monitored ads and activities of our 2022 realtor and many others, including OTOW Realtors. Out of familiarity and a desire to travel more, we listed from May thru Oct 2024 with the realtor who assisted us with our 2022 purchase. Our house got many visits, great feedback but did not sell. We knew better photos; realistic pricing for the late 2024 market; varied marketing strategies; and, more tangible buyer upgrades would help ... so refocused. In early Jan 2025, we mulled using our 2022 Realtor (now semi- retired); another firm; or choose an OTOW Realtor since we saw many ads in weekly and monthly HOA newspapers. After discussing our desire to sell and relocate to travel more ... we requested a candid session with Christy Main and Tammy Coughlin regarding their experience in this very different and competitive market to discuss marketing and selling our property. I already knew the pricing and flexibility would be a priority ... Tammy and Christy shared their varied marketing strategies (YT and FB ads, broker and realtor caravans, etc.). We did not want open houses ... We wore Christy out with late night and early morning emails regarding my desired to redesign my lawn in the middle of a listing and a few other things -- Christy was always a cheerleader with many responses and support. We are happy with the entire process, including working through a last-minute buyer financing glitch one day before scheduled closing. Christy remained focused, helpful and encouraging through it all. BOTTOM LINE: We sold the house and can now complete the rest of my true dreams -- travel and live abroad to complete the dreams I vowed to live 10 years ago.
