I could not have asked for a better person to help me buy my first house! As a first-time buyer, I had many questions about the process. She was so organized, detail-oriented, and super responsive. She took the time to go through the entire offer packet and explain every line to me. She looked through all disclosure documents and highlighted issues before we even saw the houses, she walked me through things to look for in the houses, and was able to help me ballpark how much different updates to the houses would cost. She goes above and beyond - she truly cares about her clients and making sure they feel taken care of. She even brought her husband along when I got the keys, and they helped me change out some lights, get my door rekeyed, and reset the garage door code. I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase (or sell) a home strongly consider Christine Lau. Christine is one of the smartest, kindest most sincere people I've ever known and was an absolute pleasure to work with during what can be a really stressful event. As a first time home buyer, there are a ton of firsts and things to learn along the way. Christine did a phenomenal job of educating my wife and I throughout the entire process, from writing a letter to the buyer, to calculating the specifics of our offer, to working with our bank, to dotting all i's and t's all the way through escrow and closing. Further, she would always illuminate the next steps so that we were always ready for the next milestone. An added bonus was the time her husband Michael was able to contribute. Michael is a long-time property manager in downtown San Francisco for some very prominent sky rises and was able to offer his expertise on a number of areas prior to making an offer. Finally, yet most importantly, we really felt that Christine always had our backs and we trusted her implicitly. Prior to working with Christine, we met with many other experienced brokers, but we never felt the level of trust and confidence like we experience with Christine. Hopefully we won't be moving anytime soon, but if we find ourselves in the home market again, we will definitely want to work with Christine again!
