Cheryl took the time to show me a lot of different homes and different locations. Explained and answered every one of my questions. Emails and texts were flowing back and forth all the way through this adventure. But we finally found the one house in the right location and at closing Cheryl said to me as we were leaving the Title Company Office, in the future if there is any information I may need, do not hesitate to contact her and she told me that she would be reaching out to me with any updates. If you're looking for an agent that puts her heart, mind, and soul into her work - stop right here! Cheryl worked tirelessly to help us find a home and community meeting a number of prerequisites (moderately priced, not cookie-cutter, unique space for homeschooling, close to nature, no 4/5G towers in or adjacent to property, reasonable drive to work, etc.). This effort would also require an exceptional amount of grace and patience as my wife is in the middle of a battle with cancer. We even had a home fall through during inspection where she could have pushed for a close and didn't - she provided logical advice, which aligned with our assessments and instincts. She even went out of her way to help negotiate the sale of our out-of-pocket additional inspection reports to the seller so that we wouldn't ultimately be out of any significant amount of cash on the transaction. Inevitably, the state of FL decided that nearly everyone was a "hero" and could qualify for the DPAA Hometown Hero's assistance and the funding quickly vanished. Cheryl, then pushed us (to our initial reluctance) in the direction of a new home builder offering closing incentives until we found exactly what we needed. She subsequently assisted in negotiations through and after closing - even where her commission was greatly reduced in that scenario. In the end, the builder covered nearly all of our closing closing costs and funding fees. We truly believe that God placed her in our lives at the exact time we needed her....and we are forever grateful for her patience, grace, love, and support throughout the process. As long as we stay in FL, Cheryl is our realtor for life!
