Our home buying experience with Chad as our agent was painless and completely seamless. I chose Chad asa our agent because of his strong knowledge of the markets we were interested in, Poway and Rancho Bernardo. I was completely clueless about who to trust as our lender and Chad gave us several recommendations. The person we chose was completely ethical, competitive, and delivered the loan package on time, as promised. No surprises. Chad set us up to review homes online that fit our profile. New listings and changes were sent to us by an email notification. That is how we found our new home. We visited 12-15 homes during this time period, most of which we did not care for. Chad was very good at asking us why we didn't like the home, trying to learn what our hot buttons were and what the deal-killers were. That way he could steer us towards more appropriate listings for our needs in the future. When it came time to offer on the home that we eventually bought, Chad gave great advice on how to approach. I am certain that he read the situation correctly and this resulted in us saving tens of thousands of dollars. Chad recommended a great inspection company, and he was there with me when the inspector verbally gave me his feedback before the report. No corners were ever cut during the process. After the closing, Chad has checked in with us several times and he recommended a trusted floor cleaner (who did a great job) and a handyman who we haven't had a chance to call yet, but we will. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't want to use Chad Basinger as your next agent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Chad has helped us sell two homes within the past three years (2014 and 2017). Both times, we sold the homes within the first week and were very pleased with the sales price both times. (He has also helped us buy our most recent home, which proceeded very smoothly.) Chad's greatest virtues are (1) his in-depth knowledge of the house buying/selling process and the markets, (2) his communication skills and pleasant disposition, and (3) his exceptional work ethic. As a result of these attributes, Chad makes the buying/selling process extremely painless and easy. He assembles all of the paperwork and explains, in very plain language, everything that you need to know to understand what's happening. He provides very insightful advice on every aspect of the transaction, but his low-pressure approach gives us the freedom to ultimately make our own decisions. And we never once found ourselves waiting on Chad to complete a task to move the buying/selling process along; to the contrary, Chad was always one-step ahead and, if anything, he had to wait on my wife and I to sign the documents he'd prepared for us! I literally cannot imagine a real estate agent providing a smoother selling/buying experience than what we've experienced with Chad. I have recommended Chad to all my friends and family looking for a real estate agent in San Diego County, and I will continue to do so in the future without hesitation.

Chad helped my buy my first home. I had very little knowledge of the home buying process, and Chad was very knoweldgable and patient explaining what steps are coming up. As a CPA, he was very helpful in helping me determine what I could comfortable afford, and did not try to pressure me into viewing homes outside of my comfort zone.
