About Brian

Brian has lived in Sarasota, FL since 1998, having moved here with his family from Greensboro, NC. He attended high school locally at Riverview, and received a scholarship to play golf at the University of Tampa. He became a 4 year Letterman and earned himself the “player of the year” award for the conference his senior year. During the summers of his college years, Brian worked on Martha’s Vineyard, at Farm Neck Golf Club. After graduating with a degree in Business Management, he decided to set his degree aside and chase his dream. He played golf professionally from 2006-2013, and competed on numerous tours across the country. In 2015, Brian met his now wife and eloped in 2017. Since then they have started a family and have two beautiful little girls. Golf will always be in his heart, but real estate runs through his blood. His father and Broker/Owner of Waterside Realty LLC, has been selling and investing in Real Estate on Siesta Key and in the Sarasota area since 1998. His mother is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida and his sister, former “ABC’s the Bachelor” fan favorite, Renee Oteri Maynard, holds real estate licenses in the state of Florida. Brian is a licensed Real estate Broker Associate and understands that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction: it’s a life-changing experience. That’s why he is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized service for all of his clients. He takes great pride in the relationships he builds and always work relentlessly on the client’s behalf to help them achieve their real estate. We found Brian Ward on Yelp and it was one of the best decisions we have made!

We found Brian Ward on Yelp and it was one of the best decisions we have made! We had been looking for a second home in the Sarasota area for a couple months on Redfin. Once we got serious, called Brian and spoke to him. He gave us several tips & opinions about the area & different housing developments. This was so important to us, since we were buying from out of state. We found a house that interested us, he advise us of the potential problems with the location/traffic and helped us find the property we ended up purchasing. Brian was so very dependable, reliable and quick to answer all of our questions. He exceeded all of our expectations in buying a house from out of state. We now consider Brian our first Sarasota friend! Brian was so reliable, that the seller also made direct communication with him regarding several issues in coordination for the sale of the property. Brian is very knowledgeable relative to real estate processes and procedures. He is pleasant and is available anytime on his cell phone. If you leave a message, he follows up quickly. Brian was referred to us and he certainly lived up to make our time with him a great experience.

Actually lucked out from Michigan

Actually lucked out from Michigan, contacted Brian Ward about a small rental condo a while back. A year later we live on a siesta and Brian Ward did a great job, lots of work to do when we were 1500 miles away. Then we used Robin from the rental management side of Waterside Realty and she secure a rental for us while Brian was helping us find a new. Needless to say it was a team effort and they are a great team Dan D

He was awesome. Went out of his way to help me...

He was awesome. Went out of his way to help me.Gave me suggestions on what to do to make the housesell better. He answered all my questions even though some of them I thought were a bit ridiculous but he never said a word about it and smiled and answered my questions If I ever wanted to buy another house I would use him as my realtor.
