I have so many positive things to say about our experience with Brenda!! Our home search started the third week of January and I had no clue how aggressively priced the market was getting to be. I thought we could make offers close to asking price but Brenda allowed me to see for myself that we would need to be a little more flexible with the top part of our budget to get what we wanted. There was never any pressure, rather she was allowing us to learn from the experience of putting in multiple offers and coming in second multiple times. It made me reassess our ability to increase our budget and luckily we were positioned to be more aggressive than we had been. When we got in the rhythm of looking at houses, putting in offers and waiting for the outcome, Brenda's communication was always prompt and informative. She was our cheerleader and felt confident that we would find a property we liked when we felt discouraged by other buyers outbidding us several weekends in a row. She was creative in telling us about Homeward to perhaps bring cash to the table at times that we were beat by cash offers. It became apparent to all of us in March that the market was changing quickly because of the low inventory and I believe Brenda may have learned some approaches to improving our offer along the way as well, which ultimately got us our house in Englewood :) We spent about 8 weeks looking at houses and again, Brenda was always quick to respond to questions. She was fun to look at houses with (we saw a few "unique" properties). She had suggestions for improvement if we were looking at a house that had potential but we weren't sure. After closing, she did a wonderful job compiling contractor information since we plan on doing some improvements on the house we purchased. It truly has been a great experience from beginning to end. We are excited about moving into our new house :)
