We had listed our home with several other agents, and we were frustrated with the lack of communication, and effort to sell our home. Then we met Andrew Scherer. He convinced us to give him a chance at selling our home, and Oh My Gosh, it was as if the clouds parted, the sun came out, and the birds began to sing. It was an awesome decision! We have bought and sold numerous homes, and Andy is, by far, THE BEST real estate agent we have ever worked with. He is knowledgeable, professional, honest, and hard working. There was never any doubt in our minds that Andy was always looking out for our best interest. Even when he had to give us bad news, he always had a plan to move forward. We met with Andrew in pre-covid January, viewed several homes, narrowed our wish list and returned to Georgia. Planned to put our lake home on the market in March. When the world shut down, Andy kept in touch sending homes to view through email. We had a cash offer on our home and the next day, after a virtual tour with Andrew, put an offer in on a beautiful home in Lakewood Ranch. Within a week, our buyer had purchased a larger home and backed out of our deal, leaving us in a bind. Andy was instrumental in reassuring the seller’s agent that this deal could go through. In the end, after a lot of work and schmoozing on Andy’s part, we got the house and closed quickly. Andy was a gem and critical to us in a tumultuous time. He arranged for the inspection and was there to help and recommend vendors. He was our eyes and ears on the ground in Florida. I do not think we would have gotten the home we wanted without him. He was always there when I called and was never too busy to help. We had a realtor, and now have a friend. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone needing a highly experienced realtor.

Andy genuinely cares about his clients as if they were a family member. He, in my opinion, did the impossible finding me a Home in the middle of a Pandemic! He would look at houses with me Virtually as if he were buying it HIMSELF. In such a nerve racking time he gave me a sense of ease. He is NOT a pushy hard sell Realtor. He takes the time to get to know you, answers ALL of the million questions you have during the process and is extremely knowledgeable about locations homes in the Area's you are looking at and will near steer you to something he wouldn't buy himself. I'm so grateful he was my Realtor and throughout the course of searching for a home I can honestly say that I'm proud to have met him and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Andy to anyone looking for a place to call home!
