I’m Andrew Alcaraz, Broker/Owner of Valor Real Estate in New Bern, NC, where I proudly serve buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Eastern North Carolina. My expertise spans residential sales, waterfront homes, golf course communities, investment properties, and relocation services, with a specialized focus on military relocation, PCS moves, and VA loan transactions.
My passion for helping people achieve their real estate goals began during my 10 years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. While serving on active duty, I experienced firsthand the challenges of moving—across the country and overseas—and I understand the stress and logistics that come with relocating, whether for a military PCS or a career change. That experience shaped the way I serve my clients today: with precision, dedication, and a commitment to making the process as smooth as possible.
Originally from San Diego, California, my wife Cassandra and I have lived in multiple states during my military career, but we ultimately fell in love with New Bern and the surrounding area. The charm of the historic downtown, access to coastal waterways, and the warm, welcoming community made it the perfect place to plant our roots. This personal connection drives my enthusiasm for helping others discover all that Eastern NC has to offer.
For my military clients, I bring a deep understanding of PCS timelines, remote home buying, and VA loan processes. I have assisted service members and veterans moving to and from MCAS Cherry Point, Camp Lejeune, and MCAS New River, helping them find homes that fit their needs, lifestyle, and budget—often on tight schedules.
