From just that short phone conversation we knew Amy was the one. As time went on, she patiently showed us house after house (Facetime) giving us her expert understanding of the neighborhoods, local amenities, road noise and very comprehensive tours of the homes. During the negotiation process Amy again demonstrated her skills; ending up getting us a far better result that we thought possible. People talk about finding "Their calling". I believe Amy has. When we started looking for a home near our daughter, she recommended Amy Thompson. From the first minute we met Amy, we knew she was the right realtor for us. She quickly grasped the type of property we were looking for and was happy to show us any places we were interested in. When we found the right house, she was extremely helpful communicating all our questions to the sellers realtor and getting answers very quickly. She also managed to arrange a roofing estimate in record time, set us up with a mortgage broker, and kept us updated on all the steps along the way. We had to leave Eugene and head back eastward during this time and Amy was very understanding about our poor cell service! She was there for the inspection and made sure we had a chance to chat directly with the inspector. Amy made the process of buying our home in Eugene so easy! We highly recommend her.

I bought my condo at the end of 2020 and Amy was my realtor. I found myself in a situation where I hadn’t even been looking to buy real estate, but an opportunity presented itself and I had to make some big decisions pretty quickly... in the midst of a pandemic. I’m new to the Eugene area and don’t have many connections yet, so I searched on Realtor.com for a buyer’s agent. Amy’s profile fit all of my criteria, had a lot of positive recommendations, and a great promo video. I definitely think the realty gods answered my prayers b/c she was awesome to work with from start to finish. She answered her phone the first time I called her and we had a really nice introductory chat. She asked a lot of great questions, answered all the questions I had and walked me through the process step-by-step. She was always prompt in replying/responding to texts, emails, and phone calls, and honestly, helped reduce a lot of my stress and anxiety through the process with her calm, cheerful, professional demeanor, as well as her overall level of knowledge about all things real estate related (including her solid recommendations for service providers like home inspectors).
