This had been a rental condo in a trust in Laguna Niguel, CA. When my mother died, we placed it on the market and originally used the property management company as listing agent out of convenience more than anything else, because there were tenants in the unit with 8 months left on a lease. There was not even one offer, and communication from the other company was poor. After that 6-month MLS expired, I was bombarded with mailers and repeated phone calls from other agents wanting a listing, and almost nobody left voicemail messages. Amy was different and very courteous, however when I spoke with her initially I wasn't ready to list it yet as the tenants were still there. We reconnected later and I listened to her ideas, which I liked, and did some research online about her. It was also important to me that I could accomplish almost everything remotely from another state, because I couldn't travel to California easily. She reassured me that we could handle it without travel, and we did.
It felt like Amy really understood what we as buyers were going through; the process feels quite confusing at times, but knowing we could always reach out for her advice and clarification made it less daunting. We plan to keep in touch and have Amy come over to see our new house once the reno is completed!
