I wasn't sure how to go about doing even the small things and Amy put me at ease. Amy was very helpful throughout the entire process of home buying. Any time nerves got the better of me, especially dealing with our financial institution, she was right there to reassure. It was a priveledge with Amy E Mateus. Having never sold a home before I didn't know where to begin to find a Real Estate agent. I started looking on line for agents who where successful in 2014. I chose 3 different agents and 2 got back to me and I met with the first who was nice but once I met Amy, I knew she was the one to represent us in the sale of our parents house. Amy didn't beat around the bush but from the first meeting told us what needed to be done. When talking about the pricing of the home, she told us a fair price if we wanted to sell it, or told us we could ask for more but it could be a year ir more . We decided to go with her recommendation and tried to do all she suggested. Our mom's house sold in 4 hours. Yes, 4 hours. Our buyer was a bit "pucky" about things and Amy worked harder than I ever thought possible. I would email her sometime late at night, never expecting a return email until the following day and low and behold I would get an answer within 15 minutes. Her communication surpassed all my expections. Amy's positive attitude and professionalism made the selling of our property so much easier and smoother than I ever imagined. Amy did a great job with our first house, we had some difficulties and had to move the closing date a couple times because of the previous tenants. But in the end everything came up great, she managed to have the owner rebuild the septic system and give us a couple thousands towards the closing costs. I am very satisfied with her professionalism, always available and on time.
