Hire Amber to be your listing agent! She knows the Monterey real estate market, understands what buyers are looking for and how to market your house. She does her research and did an amazing job staging my house. I trusted all her suggestions on pricing and changes my house needed and I received an offer above asking within days of listing. She is extremely responsive and reassuring throughout the sale process. I highly recommend Amber and her team for anyone looking to buy or sell in the Monterey area.

Amber Russell, broker owner of Over the Moon Realty, listed and sold our house on July 23, 2024. Having bought and sold several homes in the past, we consider this the most pleasant experience we have had. From the very start, it was evident that Amber was experienced and knew what she was doing. She gave us a lot of pointers, backing them up with explanations and reasons. She took our ideas and preferences into consideration; there was good communication throughout. It was a very well coordinated experience. Rob, Amber’s husband, was a superb help, taking care of many of the minor repairs and replacements. We were most impressed with how he paid attention to details and was willing to spend long hours in getting our house just right to put on the market. Even our neighbors noticed and were highly impressed, prompting them to ask for Amber's business card. It was very reassuring to have such an efficient team. They responded quickly to all our questions and concerns. If you need a realtor, Amber Russell is THE REALTOR you want working for you.

Amber is a gem, she is reliable and detail oriented. She always walked us through the process explaining everything and never pressuring us. She went out of her way to make sure every step was smooth, introducing us to wonderful mortgage and insurance lenders and local craftsmen. We felt she was very invested in our home owning dreams and looked out for us like a big sister. I would recommend her to anyone.

Over The Moon Realty, located on Lighthouse Avenue in Pacific Grove, CA is an establishment one would have experienced with delight from years past. The owner, Amber, sold my home and also became my friend. Amber is a very hard worker that goes above and beyond to make all transactions fall into place. I would have no hesitation recommending her to any friend or family member. Thank you, Amber!

My experience with Amber and her team was fantastic. I have sold over 20 properties and this has been the best overall experience I have had. I wish Amber could be my agent for all my real estate needs. Her team delivered on everything they said they would and took care of everything. As an out of state seller she and her team took so much off my plate and made this the easiest and friendliest transaction I have ever done. Please use Amber and her team with ultimate confidence that you will get your deal done right.

Amber Russell is a Real Estate Broker who lives and works in Monterey, CA. We contracted with her to sell a property in nearby Seaside after researching and talking with other local, independently owned brokerages. Amber Russell met us at the property with her promotional real estate package and list of comparable property sales in the surrounding area. We decided to list our property with her firm - OVER THE MOON - not only because of her successful history of sales on the Peninsula, including Seaside, but because she listened to our needs, offered valuable suggestions and insights and yet was flexible. Amber went the extra mile in staging the house so that it was not only highly attractive from the exterior (due to our earlier work), but also from the interior due to her tasteful arrangement of furniture and decor. Amber made the entire sales process easier for us by providing her own experienced and thorough property and termite inspectors who could complete the necessary inspections in a timely manner. Prior to the first open house, she placed an ad in the Monterey Herald advertising the property. Two well-attended open houses were held on two consecutive weekends, conducted by Over the Moon's other agent, Robin Venuti. The listing was structured such that no offers would be accepted until after the second open house since we were going to be out-of-town for a week. And following the second open house, we received two offers over the listing price, and escrow closed in approximately a month after listing this property. We highly recommend Amber Russell and her business Over the Moon.

Amber Russell represented us selling our home recently. I have worked with a number of realtors in the past that I thought were very good, however, Amber exceeds them all by a wide margin. She is great to work with and brings many services that other realtors do not offer. Amber offers staging for the home and has excellent taste. She also offers cost-conscious suggestions as to maintenance or updating that make a significant difference in the presentation of the home. Amber's husband is very much a jack-of-all-trades and helped where needed. Amber's list of contacts for services needed was also helpful. She is very experienced in this process and was strategic in her recommendations for timing, pricing, and negotiation, which lead to multiple offers and a sale of our home above list price in a ten day period. I would wholeheartedly recommend Amber to represent you for your real estate needs. I would not consider working with anyone else on the peninsula for a home purchase or sale.

My parents lived in Pacific Grove for 30 years, 20 of it in the house on Del Monte. My kids and nieces and nephew spent all of their summers there. It was the heart of the family. So many holidays and birthdays. My father passed in October of 2023 so I knew we were going to have to sell it. We had one more Christmas and then I called Amber, whom I was referred to by a family friend, and we got to work. She was very understanding that emotionally it was going to be very hard for me. She knew what we needed to do to let the house shine and was there at every step with painters and electricians etc. I could not recommend her and her team enough. She was so professional and knowledgable it was the best experience ever. The house sold in 3 days with an 11 day escrow. Once the papers were signed she did not abandon us. She and her husband were there to help us get everything out of the house in time and brought her cleaning crew over so everything shined. If you have a house in Pacific Grove there is no other agent you should go with

Amber from Over the Moon Realty recently helped my wife and I sell our home and working with her was an absolute pleasure! We met Amber almost 7 years ago when she helped us buy the same home we just sold and the level of service she provided was unforgettable. Naturally, we had to hire Amber again and, like before, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Her expertise and knowledge of her craft made it incredibly easy to work with her. She provided invaluable guidance on how to prepare our home for sale, coordinated all of the staging with the help of her incredible team, and presented a very compelling pricing strategy. Amber's attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the listing was perfect, maximizing our appeal and landing us multiple offers. Throughout the selling process, Amber was answering our questions, helping us with scheduling, and providing sage advice. Her professionalism and dedication truly set her apart. Thanks to the hard work of her and her team, we were able to sell our home quickly and at a price that exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend Amber highly enough to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Monterey area. She’s not only the greatest realtor of all time, but a genuine and remarkable person. Thank you, Amber, for making it such a pleasure to buy and sell our home! We are over the moon with your service!

I have worked with Amber several times as both a buyer and seller. Amber knows her stuff--she kept me well-informed and kept my needs in mind. She even made the long, sometimes arduous search for a home feel like a fun adventure. Amber knows the market and has a well-earned reputation as a top-notch agent. Highly recommend!

Amber's personal, candid approach to the home-buying experience was so refreshing. Her knowledge of the local market, recommendation for a mortgage broker, and open communication made the whole process as easy as it could be. We would recommend her and Over the Moon Realty to anyone looking to buy or sell a house in the Monterey area!

Working with Amber and Monica was such a great experience. Our house sold in 3 days and at more than asking! They helped us all the way through the process and explained what would happen next. I would recommend anyone to use them and I would use them again.
