Several months observing Addora be the listing agent on our behalf has demonstrated to us that she was an excellent choice from several considered and is a consummate professional. Our home in the El Miradero neighborhood of Glendale, CA presented Addora, as she admitted, with some unique challenges. First off, it’s built on a slope – 32 steps up to the garage in the back and 29 steps down to the front street. Moreover, the property includes a large, multi-pool koi pond connected by several waterfalls. After 4 months working like chain gang convicts to get the house and landscaping to a perfect, move-in condition, we were surprised and disappointed that it didn’t sell immediately. The three most common comments from potential buyers over several open houses were: Beautiful, Perfect, and Too Many Steps – the last being the deal buster. But Addora kept calm and carried on in the midst of our anxiety and ultimately found buyers in as much love with the place as we were. Indeed, she served as the listing agent for the sale of their house to finance, to a large degree, the purchase of ours. It was an arrangement fraught with potential insurmountable hurdles, but Addora carried it off without a hitch. We were particularly pleased and impressed during the staging of the home when Addora supplied stuff from her personal “warehouse” to augment what was brought in by the staging company and which made the final look of it all just perfect. Our mother passed away in March of this year and because our entire family members live all across the globe, we needed to quickly address her estate while everyone was home for the funeral. As the trustee of my mother-in-law’s trust, I reviewed realtors on line in the Glendale area. Addora’s reviews were fantastic with a high mention of how people especially appreciated her trustworthiness. We were all still in shock at the unexpected death of our mother and trying to work through with all that had to be taken care of. Addora could not have made this piece, the selling of her home, any easier for us. She met with our entire family to explain the selling process and was very honest and set our expectations perfectly during the whole procedure.
