My husband and I sold our home in NE Minneapolis in the spring of 2019 after we had moved to Seattle that winter. In an unexpected turn of events, we moved back to Minneapolis in the fall of 2020 and needed to buy a home on a short timeline. Aaron made house shopping fun and easy. He even found us a short-term rental to live in while we looked for a home (he has so many connections in the Twin Cities!) Aaron Neumann was the most wonderful realtor and in less than 2 days he found us our dream home, it was perfect! Throughout the experience he was attentive, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very thorough. My husband and I had Aaron Neumann recommended to us by friends who had just purchased their first home. As residents of NE Minneapolis in love with the neighborhood and its surrounding environs, we were drawn to Aaron's strong roots in the area and civic engagement in local causes, to say nothing of his profound affection for its character. Aaron came though for us time and again. He scrutinized every aspect of the homes we toured, pointing out potential problems and suggesting fixes, often warning us against features that were defective or antiquated. He easily adapted to our concerns and suggestions when expanding our search outside of its original scope. Everyone he recommended for inspections or loans was easy to work with, experienced and reasonably-priced. Home-buying is a slog, but he was there every step of the way. When we first found a home that we liked and thought was affordable, Aaron all but forbid us to purchase it, citing a laundry list of pending -- and expensive -- problems and reminding us of what we'd originally said was important to us in a home, as well as mentioning that tight inventory didn't mean we had to settle for less. As a result, we were shortly able to find a much better deal on a wonderful house closer to Northeast with great features and in considerably better condition than the other one. I'm very glad he fought us on that! If you need a sharp, principled, and funny realtor to go to bat for you, you couldn't do better than Aaron.
