Maybe our standards are low right now because of pandemic living, but all joking aside, we couldn’t have asked for a better real estate agent than Dan. Dan is genuinely interested in being your real estate agent for life. He lets you know that he wants to make sure you buy the house that’s right for you. He started off our house hunting by showing us a bunch of properties so he could get a sense of what we liked and didn’t like. He was endlessly patient with all of our questions, and even sent us listings that met our criteria, but weren’t formally listed yet. Having Dan Dodd as your real estate agent is like having someone at the top of their game, shepherd you though an extremely competitive sport that you know nothing about, and through their expertise helping you win. We ended up buying a super awesome house, in an amazing location, with an avocado tree in the backyard!

Our long time realtor at home found Dan for us when we recently decided to buy a condo in San Francisco. Dan was a true professional every step of the way. We talked over the phone for a bit and he set up a web portal so we could quickly and easily see properties that met our criteria. A couple of weeks later we met Dan in San Francisco. He was very knowledgable about each of the properties we visited and each of them met our criteria. Upon seeing one property we especially liked, Dan was quick to schedule a second showing the next day and we went back to his office to write an offer. After one counter offer, our deal was accepted by the seller and we went on to a 30 day close. Dan is a great advocate to have when you are either buying or selling a home. (He handled the sale of my condo, and also represented me on the purchase of my house.) Dan is extremely knowledgeable on the San Francisco market, a skilled negotiator, well connected in the Real Estate Market, very responsive with a calm demeanor, and a super nice guy. He is a pleasure to work with. Dan’s strategy for marketing my condo (including renovations and staging, pricing, marketing, and negotiating with the buyer’s agents) resulted in a price significantly higher than I had expected. The entire process was very low stress. Dan and his team handled all of the arrangements for renovations, staging, cleaning, etc., and managed the entire process while keeping me informed of the progress. He consulted with me on decisions, provided advice, but never pushed me to follow his advice. I did follow much of his advice and believe the high price and smooth process was a direct result of his skills and expertise. I feel so lucky I found Dan. He was recommended to me when I was house hunting by a broker at an open house who couldn’t represent me. I was skeptical at first but was won over by Dan’s market knowledge and responsiveness. When I found the house I wanted, Dan advised me on what he thought it would actually sell for, as well as how to best craft a winning offer. Dan Dodd is an absolute gem! We couldn't recommend him more. Dan was a friend's recommendation and we are so grateful that we went with him as our Realtor. We did interview a few options. While we are not yet through the whole purchase procedure, working with Dan has been a breeze. And this has been especially important as we are buying a property 200 miles from our primary home. He has been responsive, thorough, and totally honest. Everything he said would happen more or less as he has said.
