About Brandon

As a top producer in one of America’s premier real estate markets, I was in the top 3% for most productive agents nationally in 2019 and top 2% in 2020. My grandfather, Herman G. Alberti, started The Oceanaire Realty in 1979. Today I stand alongside my brother, Doug Yopp, in expanding his vision and client focused commitment to better serve the needs of the Triangle real estate market. We have the experience you need to make your best move. I take great pride in the opportunity to get to know and develop meaningful relationships with our clients at The Oceanaire Realty. My success in real estate directly correlates to those relationships, which extend beyond the closing table. Aside from assisting our clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Amber, our dogs, Ziggy and Darcy, and traveling. A lifelong learner, I hold bachelors and masters degrees from NC State University, and a masters degree from Campbell University. Prior to my real estate career, I spent more than a dozen years as a leading communications professional and consultant at universities in the Raleigh area. Following a successful 13-year career in higher education fundraising and development, I decided to pursue a lifelong dream as a real estate broker. After several years as a top producer for the premier team in one of the country's top markets, I decided to start my own company close to my family home, which is in Sneads Ferry. I attended UNCW and NC State University, finishing my bachelor's degree in 2000 and my master's in 2003. My success then and now is due to my attention to detail, availability, customer service, honesty, and willingness to go above and beyond for each of my clients. I have been in your shoes, and will use my experience as a buyer and seller, as well as my expertise as a broker and REALTOR® to help you find your dream home or sell your current one. I have loved making a career out of helping others. Prior to real estate, I had a 13-year career as a claims manager with Nationwide Insurance, protecting what mattered most to customers. Now I am protecting my clients in one of the largest purchases they will ever make. Growing up I had a front row seat to watching my father build his real estate portfolio, which started with just one duplex and grew to more than 20 homes. I witnessed him being more than just a landlord. He had a true passion for helping his tenants. The Experience You Need To Make Your Best Move. North Carolina has been my home nearly all my life. From the mountains to the beaches, this state has about everything my husband, Zack, and I could want including lots of college sports. After growing up in Bladen County, I got a bachelor's in communication at East Carolina University. I then spent six years working as a newscast producer at the top television stations in Wilmington and Raleigh, earning an Emmy nomination. Ready for a change and wanting to help others on a daily basis and in a big way, real estate just made sense. As an investor who does not reside in RTP, you...

As an investor who does not reside in RTP, you are looking for a real estate partner who can serve as your eyes and ears on the ground. You would also hope for that person to be prompt, diligent, focused, and dedicated. Brandon, I'm happy to say, possesses all of these traits. Additionally, he has a high level of empathy, which is a quality I did not initially value in a real estate partner but now value highly. Anyone reading this review I guarantee would not repent going with Brandon.
