I met Real Estate agent Susie Butts when looking at a home in Washington County Maryland. I realized Susie actually understood the business; and, she was quite a go getter. Susie said "I always have time to help you or someone you care about with real estate - referrals are appreciated!". She does have time. Susie is very patient. At one home, there was no cell service on the property except very spotty from one carrier. I spent a lot of time looking testing for Satellite Internet service. Susie was kind enough to wait around while I fiddled with testing for satellite signal. At one point Susie agreed to set up another agent to view a house in Harford County (far from her area). Susie and I went to about 5 homes to see how they were. She knows what bad walls and leaky basements look like, she saw a large sewer pipe with a an open gash in the top (yes the top) (pipes not inclined sufficiently will corrode from effulgent not draining). Susie noticed an old oil tank sitting on the property at one place; Federal law says the tank must be decommissioned by certified personnel. Susie noticed a lot of water damage in an attic we looked at. Having an agent who knows about these things guides a buyer to be aware there may be potentially expensive repairs involved. I was viewing homes by myself. It was difficult to take in aspects of a house and potential problem areas too. I teased Susie saying she was my home inspector. She knows how houses work; not just if the kitchen is nice. I highly recommend Susie for her caring and knowledge of her industry. She is fun to work with, flexible, and, she wants the buyer to be satisfied with the home they purchase. Please Note: This review is vastly reduced from the 4500 character highly detailed size originally as written. I already rewrote this a couple times to convert it from me buying a house to how Susie helped me. I am discouraged by the document size limit. Terabyte drives don't cost much today.
