Simply put...Susan is GREAT!!! We originally listed our home (first week of June 2015) with a different agent. We were extremely excited bc of all the promises that were made to us. We were even more excited when we got an offer...but sadly it fell through :-(. We continued to stay positive but after months of having no home viewings and not being able to get in touch with our realtor we had to move on...AND THAT WAS THE BEST DECISION WE COULD HAVE EVER MADE!!! Susan actually reached out to us and we were a little skeptical so we held multiple interviews to see who would be a good fit for us. The reason we picked Susan is bc she is honest, straight forward, does her homework, and loves what she does. She told us exactly what the market suggest we should sell our home for, made suggestions on what to do to make it sell quicker, had a professional photographer, and most importantly stayed in contact with us through out the entire process. We listed our home with Susan Oct 2015 and thought there was no way anybody was looking to buy so close to the holidays but she told us to let her take care of everything and within a few weeks...i repeat A FEW WEEKS...we received more home viewing than we had over the 4 1/2 months listed with the previous agent. We were at a loss for words. We closed on our house Dec 2015!!! She told us from the beginning that she loves what she does for a living, she loves the challenge of selling, and that she would do what was in our best interest as far as negotiating...and she did just that!!! We truly appreciate everything :-)

If you want someone who you can put your faith and trust in then Susan Lehman is the person you want! She went above and beyond in our quest to find a home. When I first called her to schedule an appointment to meet us I told her that I wanted her to get to know us and that's exactly what she did! She was never pushy, she answered any questions we had with never a complaint and if she didn't know she would find out and get back with us. You can choose who you want but in no way can you go wrong with Susan she will go above and beyond to help you make your search for your dream home come true. Susan knows the Montevallo area. It was a little slow at the start, however Susan picked up speed and had my best interest. We (I was the seller, Susan was my agent) had a "difficult" buyer’s agent and Susan did a good job of weaving through the process all the while making sure she had my best interest in sight. I thought she did a good job in the negotiation process. I really liked her personal skills and values, she is someone you can trust. Overall I would recommend her as an agent.

Our house needed an interior facelift, but we had not thought of investing in the work ourselves. Susan convinced us that we would need to do certain things in order to make the house appealing on today's market. She itemized the improvements we should consider, and we followed her expert advice, hiring workers that she suggested based on past results. We had three acceptable offers in a short time - two of them on the first day the house was shown! Susan was referred to us by a friend, whose house also sold quickly and for a good price. She knows the Montevallo market and how to optimize the beauty and uniqueness of each house. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job.
