I have found when using a real estate agent you really need someone that do three things well - research the market for the seller or buyer. This means getting reasonable comparisons for pricing and purchasing. It is imperative that the agent provides communication throughout the process. Not having strong communication creates worlds of problems and following through the entire process to the end of the relationship. We wanted to buy a house and we kept looking at it online. We made an appt with Amanda and she showed us the house and a few others. We were not ready to put a contract in, so we waited several months. We did want to see several more houses so she arranged for us to do so ( with another agent ) because we asked last minute and she was out of town. We did end up buying the first house we looked at ( Amanda was AWESOME ) but she was never pushy after we looked at the first house. She did send other houses based on what we told her we were looking for. She answered every question we had quickly and always answers when we reach out.
