About Matthew

Originally drawn out of a small rural community in Alaska to attend the University of Idaho, Matt graduated with a degree in Architecture in 1996. Upon returning to his home state, he enjoyed a 20 year career in Construction Project Management as well as building a portfolio of custom homes and cabins in some of the most beautiful and remote places in Southeast Alaska. Matt returned to Idaho with his family in 2018 to enjoy the outdoor treasures of Idaho and explore new opportunities. Recognizing a property’s potential, appreciating quality construction and providing value to the client, is Matt’s expertise. He looks forward to helping his clients navigate an aggressive market and finding those special properties that are set apart from the all the rest.

One of thee best agents I’ve had a pleasure to work with, strong integrity, very knowledgeable, willing to do what ever it takes, willing to help with what I needed when I couldn’t be there he was, very strong drive!! We were looking for a particular property in Emmett Idaho..

Matt Christner, showed us a property that checked off several boxes. My wife and I put an offer on that property. The seller stood strong and we were just too far apart on price.. we withdrew from contract.. In the meantime Matt kept looking for the perfect property for us. About a week or two later, Matt showed us a property we couldn’t live without.. We bought that property. We love it. Matt worked tirelessly to make it happen. All went very well. Love our new home.. Matt has become a good friend. Matt is so helpful still today in things he doesn’t need to be involved with.. I’m 71 years old. I have been a contractor and realtor in California for years. I have met thousands of people in my lifetime. Matt Christner is not only great Realtor but very intelligent and super helpful. 5 star Realtor and human being.. His knowledge of real estate is superb!!

Most Awesome realestate agent in the WORLD

My last house sale turned out to be one of those things you hope never finds you and you won't ever forget. Matt managed every bit of it until the deal closed almost 2 years later. He was always upbeat, always had an answer or suggestion and even prayed. He was not thrown by anything that came up and was always friendly when having to deal with it. Matt could talk to anybody and will always be considered a good friend. His support system from his office was also great. I still have him on speed dial and would recommend him to everyone looking to buy or sell.
