I have been a full-time REALTOR with RE/MAX Results since 2000 and I love it! I get to wake up every morning and surround myself with two of the things I love most: people and houses! This industry provides a unique opportunity to advocate for and serve people as they embark on one of life’s biggest challenges – displacing themselves from their comfort zone and moving someplace new. My business is almost exclusively repeat and referral and I am always overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of my amazing friends and clients. ?They give me an abundant life and a rewarding and meaningful career...for these things I am profoundly grateful. They have also generously nominated and named me a Super Real Estate Agent by Mpls/St Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Monthly for nine consecutive years, a tremendous honor!! I have also received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award and am a multiple-year recipient of the RE/MAX Platinum award. On the personal side, I am married to my best friend, Doc Czypinski, and we have a beautiful daughter named Ayla to whom we are both devoted. Our family is rounded off by a Golden Retriever named Daphne and a cat named Alfred. We live in Bloomington where we are slowly refurbishing our 50’s built Cape Cod and creating an outdoor oasis in the backyard. I am a passionate home chef and foodie, an avid gardener, an amateur photographer of my favorite muse, Ayla, and a musician (I attended the U of MN and studied Vocal Performance and I also play the piano). I love to travel, to volunteer, to read, to be crafty, to do just about everything!

I grew up in Robbinsdale, Minnesota and graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth with a double major in Marketing and Advertising & Public Relations. I worked for CORT Business Services for 10 years using my talents to help homeowners, property managers, builders, home stagers and corporate relocations. In 2015 I decided to change paths to become a licensed REALTOR® and the rest is history! With a father & several siblings in the building trades my mechanical knowledge began at a young age. In real estate, I put it to good use helping buyers avoid problem houses. Similarly, I help sellers prep fo required city inspections as well as buyer inspections. Hi! I’m Steven Hong, a Licensed Residential Real Estate Agent for over 20 years with RE/MAX Results, focused on helping people purchase or sell homes. Even though my primary focus is specializing in older, character homes in Minneapolis and St. Paul, I can help you with your real estate needs around the Twin Cities metro area. I have earned the Old Home Certification designation which covers information such as architecture, old home resources, historic district details, energy efficiency and more. I also have the GREEN designation which covers information on sustainability, eco materials, and again energy efficiency. I currently have a solar PV system on my house that has now been running for 13 years, and 3 years ago, added a second solar system. Besides focusing on energy efficiency, I also want to reduce my carbon footprint. The vehicle that I drive , a zero-emission Tesla, plays a big part of that. I can claim zero emissions with the Tesla because of the second solar system on my house which allows me to drive 18,000 miles per year on solar energy. No coal, no natural gas, no nuclear. Just 18,000 miles powered by the sun. This second system also offsets some power to the house, while the remainder of our power is generated by the wind. 100% of my miles are all driven on renewable energies. The Tesla is the car I drive every day, to show houses, attend meetings, and to work at the office. I am passionate about home ownership and especially love to help first-time home buyers. I love seeing how excited people get when they find "the right one."
