A different perspective .................
There are a lot of things that I could write here - I'm choosing not to fill this space with the normal "I'm awesome and you should work with me" stuff. The facts are after 30 years in this business I've learned I'm not everyone's cup of tea. It's often said that I'm blunt and to the point. To me and to those that choose to work with me - it's really more about the fact that it's not my money. It's yours and I'm not desperate enough to push you in to buying something or selling your home if it doesn't work for you. I'd rather you know what obstacles you're going to be facing should you choose to move forward and whether or not it's going to fit your particular financing program. That's right - I know what works and what doesn't. We're not going to get to the appraisal and find out the property doesn't work with the contract we have in hand. I'm informed, confident and compassionate. I'm honest and fair to a fault. If you like facts and not smoke and mirrors, I'm your person.
On the volunteer side of things I've kind of been there done most of it. My time now is spent with a host of smaller non-profit endeavors and building this business. I support the grieving children that attend Camp Koala - http://www.campkoala.org/, Susquehanna Council, Boy Scouts of America and those that we consider Heroes in our midst. The recent times have brought to the front of the line the food insecure children and quite frankly, it's unacceptable.

Steve Slotter, a Selinsgrove resident who has 14 years of experience as a licensed real estate professional. He served for four years on the board of directors for the Central Susquehanna Valley Board of Realtors. Steve joined RE/MAX River Valley Realty in Northumberland in February of 2020.
His experience includes 10 years in real estate sales management and 8 years in residential property management, including sales of residential and commercial real estate, farmland, recreational properties, vacant land and subdivisions and leasing of commercial and residential properties.
Active in his church and community, he has been involved in numerous roles within the Boys Scouts of America, currently serving as the Seven Bridges District Advancement Chairperson and an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 419, Selinsgrove. He currently serves as the Worship Committee Chairman for the Susquehanna Valley Church of Christ. He also coached for several years in the Selinsgrove Little League and Upward Flag Football program in Sunbury.
A graduate of Troy Area High School, earned a bachelor of science degree in human resource management at Messiah University. When not at work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. He and his wife, Angelina, have two children.
Alison Hall describes herself as a “people person,” a perspective that she credits for her success as a Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant, pharmaceutical sales associate, stay-at-home mom, and for the past 15 years, as owner of The UPS Store in Lewisburg.
The Hughesville resident, a Bucknell University graduate, is now ready to channel all of those experiences into a new and exciting career as a licensed real estate agent with RE/MAX Bridges, a Lewisburg-based firm that offers a complete array of real estate services across the entire Central Susquehanna Valley.
“Juggling business ownership and family was not always easy,” Alison noted, but she learned so much building The UPS Store into a thriving business in the Lewisburg community. She and her husband, Marshall, sold The UPS Store in January, clearing the way for Alison’s new career in real estate sales and service.
Alison and Marshall, the parents of two daughters, Lauren and Camryn, are active in their church and with school activities in Hughesville. Alison also is a member of the Central PA Chamber of Commerce, now serving her second term on the Board of Directors. She is dog lover — just ask about Teddy’s antics — and enjoys knitting in her spare time.

Born and raised on a farm in central Pennsylvania, I’ve always been drawn to how things are built—and more importantly, how they’re experienced. For more than 30 years, my career has lived at the intersection of art, design, marketing, and craftsmanship. I’ve led creative and operational teams, built brands, managed complex projects, and worked hands-on as a custom woodworker, artist and design consultant. Every project started the same way: listening carefully, understanding goals, and translating ideas into something functional, thoughtful, and lasting.

It was a pleasure working with such a knowledgeable, personable, and efficient realtor.
Ann was wonderful throughout the entire process of listing and selling our home. From our first session prior to listing, I was impressed with her knowledge of the business and how she moved the process along. It was always easy get answers from her, and she kept us apprised of all developments. She handled several requirements of the inspector efficiently and successfully, finding proficient contractors to do the work. Then, a few days before the scheduled closing, a bank appraiser requested fixing chipped paint in the garage. Going well above the call of duty, Ann painted our garage floor herself so we could close on time. Throughout it all, I enjoyed our meetings and especially appreciated her sense of humor.

First Time Homebuyer's Dream Agent
Alison was great to us from the very beginning. Being a first time homebuyer, she was very patient with us and all of our questions and concerns. Although we are one of her first clients, she took the time to get answers to our questions that she didn't know off-hand. I was very impressed with her knowledge with being new to the industry. Our offer and closing process was much faster than we ever anticipated due to a variety of factors. All throughout the process Alison was very timely with her communication and responsibilities. At closing, she even went as far as providing us with some amazing welcome gifts that we could use in our new home. Best Realtor!
