I was referred to Mr. Abel by a work National Guard colleague of mine that knew him. This wasn't my first time buying a home using my VA benefits so I thought I knew what to expect. Mr. Abel made this a much better experience than my first home purchase using VA financing. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the VA home loan process and helped me overcome some obstacles that I experienced last time before they every became an issue. He knew exactly what the VA appraiser might have issue with and had the seller address them before the appraiser arrived making the process smooth. We had been renting our home for many years and we had toyed with the idea of buying it. Eric was recommended to me by a mutual friend. My husband and I were looking for a bigger home. This was basically a starter home for me. Eric made us feel very comfortable with the process and was great about helping us prepare our home for showing. My Real Estate Agent Eric Abel was amazing. When we interviewed him to be our listing agent he made my husband and I feel very comfortable with the process. He explained there would be some difficulties with selling our home but had a plan in place to overcome those. Sure enough after we were in contract we had an issue with the appraisal due to our many out buildings and the apartment my husband built. Eric was able to talk with the appraiser and have her come back out to the property and meet him to discuss the issues. I'm not sure how but we were able to move past the issue and close on the sell of our home allowing us to finish construction of our new home. We couldn't be more grateful!
