I was put into a position where I had to sell my home due to a divorce. Plus, I was going through some life changing medical issues I had started having all around the same time. This was a very stressful time in my life and I had little to no local support but Eric was so very caring and helped me through all of it. He would sit and listen to me probably way more than he should but being able to talk to someone was incredibly helpful. He was very understanding and compassionate to my situation and went above and beyond to help me through this difficult time in my life. Eric is very open about his Christian faith and he not only talked to me about it but he showed me his faith through his service which helped carry me through. He did an amazing job helping me prepare my home to sell which I wasn't physically able to do and he even helped me with movers and came the day they arrived to pack my belonging to oversee everything was done correctly. The deal he negotiated for me on my sell and on my purchase of my next home was way more than I expected and put me in a great financial position to not have to return to work so I could focus on my recovery. I am very blessed to have had Eric Abel as my Realtor and I would think anyone else would be as well. I was referred to Mr. Abel by a work National Guard colleague of mine that knew him. This wasn't my first time buying a home using my VA benefits so I thought I knew what to expect. Mr. Abel made this a much better experience than my first home purchase using VA financing. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the VA home loan process and helped me overcome some obstacles that I experienced last time before they every became an issue. He knew exactly what the VA appraiser might have issue with and had the seller address them before the appraiser arrived making the process smooth. I can't believe the stark difference my home buying experience has been with Mr. Abel as compared to my previous. I highly encourage any Military member or Veteran to use Mr. Abel with their home purchase.

We had been renting our home for many years and we had toyed with the idea of buying it. We have put a lot of our own money into the home like replacing flooring, new paint, and even did some repairs ourselves. We were treating the home like our own. I knew of Eric from a friend and decided to give him a call. He started the conversation with our landlord and was able to negotiate an extraordinary deal for us. We can't believe what we ended up getting this home for. Our mortgage ended up being less than what our rent had been for the past couple of years and we paid no money out of pocket. Eric was recommended to me by a mutual friend. My husband and I were looking for a bigger home. This was basically a starter home for me. Eric made us feel very comfortable with the process and was great about helping us prepare our home for showing. He made sure we didn't spend money on unnecessary things that wouldn't give us a return. He even stopped in on one of the days we were working on the home to check in and picked up a paint brush and helped us paint while he talked with us. Once we got everything done he hired a professional photographer and stager to help stage our home. I can't believe the time and money he put into selling our home before even listing it. He did some premarketing before going live on the market. Once we listed the showings were nonstop and offers came in like crazy! Over 20 offers! We were overwhelmed. He walked us through them and provided a spreadsheet showing us our net on each. We narrowed it down to the top 3 and we were ready to accept but he said to let him negotiate them and see what he could do. He stepped away from the dinner table and made some calls. He came back and told us he got one of the buyers to increase their offer $7,000, pay for title, and even waive inspections. We couldn't believe it. I literally started to cry. He charged us a little more than one of the other agents we spoke with but he was so highly recommended and we trusted him so we decided to go with him. We are glad we did. With that last negotiation effort he brought us more then twice what the extra cost was. Eric knows how to negotiate and work for you. We can't recommended Eric enough if you want to sell your home!
