I was a first time home buyer and had tried working with other realtors but they were never able to work with me. Matt was able to take the time and really listen to what I was working for, and never felt pressured to look at something I wasn't interested in. He was able to walk me through the process, and answer any and all questions I had, no matter how many times I asked them. Him and his wife were willing to meet with us in the evenings and on the weekend, accommodating us with our busy schedule. I reached out to Zil when I decided last minute I wanted to sell my house and move to a completely different state. I was actually working with another realtor when I found Zil and before I signed any paperwork I had Zil come over and explain things to me in her words and I knew after that she knew what she was doing and this was the right person I found to sell my house. She came with all the knowledge and the numbers and made me feel confident with my asking price. The house was only on the market for 6 days before it sold! Wow!!! Zil had me at hello! In other words, at the end of my initial conversation with Zil, I new she was the right realtor for the sell of our home. She was very enthusiastic about helping us achieve our goal of selling our home and relocating to be closer to family. When Zil left our house after her initial visit, my wife said to me, "now I see why you chose her as our realtor." Zil reminds me of myself. She's motivated, great personality, and very relatable. Zil always put us first, always having solid answers and solutions to every question and dilemma we faced throughout the process. Put simply, she did an outstanding job of keeping us sane. I've bought and sold several houses and Karen Russo was by far the best realtor I have worked with to date. She attentively listens to your "wish list" for your new home and her extensive knowledge of the Lake Norman area is evident in her recommendations. She goes over and beyond in explaining the pros and cons of each house that is under consideration to arm you with the information needed to make a buying decision. I never had to wonder where we were in the process as she is always providing feedback before it is even asked for. I was most impressed with her negotiation skills and how she always looked out for our best interest, not taking into consideration the implications on her commission. Karen Russo really sought to market and sell my home in a first rate manner. She had a great eye for how to present the home, including staging recommendations and I think the outcome was outstanding. She held multiple open houses and knew the neighborhood which allowed her to speak to all the qualities of living there.
