My wife and I (first time homebuyers) were pretty overwhelmed with the thought of what was ahead of us. LUCKILY we were connected to Stephanie who really helped the whole process feel manageable right from the beginning. After discussing the kind of house we were looking for, Stephanie set us up to get notifications for new listings that matched our criteria. That made it really easy to start evaluating any new listing and so we wouldn’t miss out on seeing any potential opportunities. Once we came across a house we loved, we were in panic mode wanting to make sure we didn’t let it slip away, but she helped keep us calm and not let our irrational fears get in the away of making any unwise decisions. She was able to perfectly walk the line of drafting a competitive offer that still looked out for us as buyers. I say perfectly because we got our offer accepted, it appraised for the exact amount we offered, and we ended up fully utilizing the extra items she suggested we negotiate for. The day after we put in our offer, the seller’s agent wanted to get in touch with our lender. At that time, we were in an area with no cell service, and by the time we got service again, everything had already been taken care of. I believe that her ability to quickly work with the seller’s agent and get him in touch with our lender was a huge reason if not THE reason we ended up getting our offer accepted. And even after that during our escrow period, she continued to answer our many questions with the same diligence, always willing to jump on the phone to make sure we were comfortable with and understanding the whole process. And now that we’ve closed and are moving into a house we love in our dream neighborhood, she’s made it clear that she’s still there for us if anything comes up that she can help with. I honestly can’t imagine what buying a house would have been like without Stephanie.
