About Michael

Just a little about me… After receiving my college degree in culinary arts, I made the cross-country move from Boston to Las Vegas in 1998 to pursue becoming an executive chef. After a few years in the industry and renting small apartments, I decided that I should be a property owner and not a renter. I bought my first property in 2001 and immediately started saving for a second one. I purchased my second property in 2003 and converted my first one into an income producing rental property. I then thought about my real estate agent and how I felt I was more involved in the home-buying process than the agent was. At that point I decided to change careers and get my Nevada Real Estate License. Since 2005 I have been a full-time real estate agent specializing in residential sales and purchases. I have experienced both the boom and the bust of the Las Vegas housing market.

The light at what sometimes seem like a dark and gloomy tunnel!

Christine Torres is the true essence of what a professional real estate/ rental agent is and should be! I was relocating to Las Vegas from Colorado Springs with my airline job, and had less than a month to find some place to call home. The first place that Christine showed me, I definitely wasn't impressed. Christine asked me what were things that I was looking for in a house rental. I gave her a list of my must haves and from that point she would send me properties online that fit into my criteria, and she would look into properties that I would send to her. Working with Christine was a time saver, because there were times when I would send her properties that were off the market and hadn't been removed or she wasn't able to research the properties at all. Christine had shown me at least 6-8 properties during my two trips to find a place. There two things that impressed me the most about Christine, her willingness to FaceTime and show me properties when I needed to be back in Colorado Springs.
