We ended up going with a new construction during a crazy time in the market and she has showed us that we were important to her. Even while on her vacation out of the country, she stayed in touch to make sure we were good when it was time to get our lot. Throughout the building process she's been there every step of the way, especially with us being out of state for the majority of the construction process. Even after closing Shannon still checks in to make sure that we are good or if there's anything else that she can do to help. She is someone you want on your side throughout the process as she gets things done and will ask all of the right questions to make sure you're not being taken advantage of as well. Maya helped me with my out of state move back in 2017 and went above and beyond for our new construction build, as we were remote during the whole process. But life changes and as I was navigating a divorce during the pandemic, Maya was there for me not only as my agent but as my friend and part of my support system during that time. She helped me purchase a condo in downtown Raleigh, and the building was the first condo building to be constructed in over 10 years. Condos are not as common in the triangle, but she was so knowledgeable from when she was an agent in Florida where it is more common to buy and sell a condo in that market. Her knowledge, guidance, expertise, care, and compassion are why everyone loves Maya. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Maya and Gina. As first time home buyers in a crazy market, we were completely terrified of even looking for a house! We had a rough experience with our first realtor and were referred to Maya and team soon after. Maya immediately treated us like family. She was honest, knowledgeable, and kind. Soon after we spoke on the phone Gina took us to look at homes. She was professional and so helpful. We didn’t know what we were looking at at some points and Gina talked us through what to look for and helped us see the potential in different spaces. When the home we were going to put an offer in on turned out to be out of our range (too much fixing up needed), Maya took it upon herself to go look at homes for us since we were moving from states away. She took videos of not only the home but of the neighborhood and did a true walk through to make us feel like we were there. Throughout the buying process Maya and team were so patient and answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they seemed to us. Once we purchased our home and began to move in, we found that the seller left some damage behind that was not there during our inspection. Maya and her husband came over and installed new blinds, repaired a hole in our baseboard, and she even wiped down spots on our wall with a magic eraser. She also sent her son and a friend to help us move heavy furniture in. This was completely unexpected from a realtor. Who goes out of their way like that for people they barely know?! This is just how Maya runs her business. She is professional, friendly, kind, fun loving, and overall an amazing person! We cannot recommend Legacy enough and will be using them again and again!
